Two government employees, Nauman Hussaini, and Ashfaque from the Health Department, have been safely recovered after being abducted from the Domel Police Station area of Bannu on April 6.

Sources indicate that the kidnappers released the two hostages last night, allowing them to return home safely.

During their captivity, both employees made a heartfelt video appeal to the government and local leaders for their release.

Earlier today, local leaders had announced plans for a roadblock; however, the situation has since calmed following the successful recovery of the hostages.
