Panic as moderate earthquake jolts Islamabad, KP and Punjab
Panic swept through various regions of Pakistan as earthquake tremors prompted residents to flee their homes and buildings. Fortunately, initial reports indicate that there have been no casualties.
Tremors measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale were felt in Swat and its surrounding areas, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Center.
The quake struck at a depth of 88 kilometers, with its epicenter located in the border regions of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.
In addition, strong tremors were experienced in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Hasan Abdal, Mianwali, and nearby areas, with the Earthquake Department measuring the intensity at 5.5 on the Richter scale and a depth of 12 kilometers.

The epicenter was identified as being 60 kilometers northwest of Rawalpindi.
In the aftermath of the earthquake, numerous residents in various locations emerged from their homes, reciting the Kalima Tayyaba as they gathered outside in concern.
