Saudi Arabia increases Hajj quota for Pakistan by 10,000 pilgrims
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar contacted the Saudi Foreign Minister to make a special request for an increase in the Hajj quota for Pakistani pilgrims.
This request was made for those citizens who were unable to register before the deadline for Hajj.
Following the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Saudi Arabia has decided to allow an additional 10,000 pilgrims from Pakistan to perform Hajj.
The Saudi authorities accepted Pakistan’s special request and approved the extension of the Hajj quota for the country.

This action serves as a practical manifestation of the close relations between the two brotherly Islamic countries, mutual cooperation, and Saudi Arabia’s special attention to the Pakistani people.
As a result of this decision, an additional 10,000 Pakistani citizens will have the opportunity to fulfill the sacred journey of Hajj in 2025.
