Saudi Arabia imposes temporary visa ban on 14 countries, including Pakistan

Saudi Arabia has imposed a temporary visa ban on 14 countries, including Pakistan, under the Hajj season.

According to sources, the ban will apply to Umrah, business, and family visas, and the visa restrictions are expected to end by mid-June.

Diplomatic sources have stated that holders of Umrah visas can enter Saudi Arabia until April 13.

Sources also mentioned that the countries included in the visa ban list are Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Yemen.

Further, sources have revealed that despite the ban, individuals staying in Saudi Arabia may face a five-year ban.
