A political consultation meeting is scheduled for April 17 in Dhaka, marking the first such gathering in 13 years, as the last meeting took place in 2012.

An important initiative is underway to enhance bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Sources indicate that Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch will represent the country at this significant meeting.

Discussions will focus on proposals to institutionalize bilateral relations and will also address the reinstatement of a joint ministerial commission.

In a further effort to strengthen ties, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar is set to visit Bangladesh from April 22 to 24.

His visit will aim to promote deeper economic and political collaboration between the two nations.

The expected outcomes of these meetings and the upcoming visit are anticipated to foster improved relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
