Police have apprehended two men posing as police officers for their involvement in short-term kidnappings.

The suspects, identified as Bilawal Khilji and Waqas, were found in possession of several videos featuring abducted individuals on their mobile phones.

Authorities reported that Bilawal and Waqas impersonated as police officers.

The disturbing footage showed many victims handcuffed.

The police have registered two cases against the suspects at the Defence police station.

Further investigations revealed that many of the videos were recorded while the victims were held hostage in their own homes.

The suspects faced three cases in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and two in Rahim Yar Khan.

Additionally, it was discovered that both suspects purchased police uniforms from shops in Saddar, where items were sold without proper verification.

Police have recovered mobile phones and stolen watches during the arrests.
