Dera Ismail Khan: Four killed, four injured over street paving dispute
A heated argument between relatives over the paving of a street in Dera Ismail Khan’s Paharpur Tehsil turned violent, resulting in an exchange of gunfire that left four people dead and four others seriously injured.
According to police, the incident took place in the village of Baghwani Shumali, where a disagreement over street repairs escalated into a deadly shootout. The victims were all from the same group, authorities confirmed.
Following the gunfire, a heavy police contingent arrived at the scene and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
The deceased were identified as Ghulam Yaseen, Muhammad Amir, Sanaullah, and Nasrullah, while the injured included Muhammad Sajid, Asim, Ramzan, and Ahmed Saeed.
