A case has been filed in South Waziristan against former provincial assembly candidate Taj Wazir. The case alleges that he engaged in propaganda against the state on social media.’

The FIR has been registered at the Wana City Police Station.

It accuses Taj Wazir of spreading misleading and fabricated news, as well as inciting the public against state institutions at various times.

The DPO has advised social media users to refrain from sharing unverified news.
