The residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have successfully thwarted an attempt by Fitna Al Khawarij militants to abduct security personnel.

The abduction attempt took place in the Tirah Valley, Orakzai District.

Residents expressed their commitment to peace and innocence regarding the terrorist attacks.

Armed individuals besieged the home of a security officer on leave, but residents united to prevent the abduction.

They firmly declared their refusal to hand over the soldier, emphasizing their disassociation with terrorism.

This comes after a similar show of resistance in Karak, where the community repelled an attack by the Kharijites.

Earlier, in Karak, the community had already demonstrated their resolve by collaborating with security forces to fend off a Kharijite attack. Security sources reported that on the night of March 14-15, local residents and police joined forces to drive away insurgents during an assault on the Khojri police checkpoint.

On Tuesday, security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tor Dara area of Khyber District, eliminating three khawarij terrorists.
