A law college student in Peshawar’s University Town shot and killed his classmate following an argument, police confirmed.

According to Town Police Station officials, Saif Ali Khan, a third-semester law student, opened fire on his friend and classmate Jawad Khan after a verbal dispute.

The accused, a resident of Shangla district, was arrested with the murder weapon while attempting to flee the scene.

Police have registered a case and launched a further investigation into the incident.
