Three powerful explosions rock Quetta, one police officer martyred

Three powerful explosions occurred at different locations in Quetta, causing injuries and damage. The first blast took place near an Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) vehicle on Karani Road in the Shalkot police station area, injuring seven personnel, one of whom later succumbed to his injuries.

The injured were shifted to BMC Hospital for medical treatment. According to police officials, the explosive device was planted on the roadside.

The martyred officer was identified as Sepoy Dilbar Khan, police confirmed.

The second incident occurred on Kambarani Road, where unidentified individuals attacked a mobile shop with a hand grenade. Police sources reported no casualties or significant property damage from the attack.

The third explosion was heard in the Killi Shabu area near Airport Road. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the nature and potential damage caused by the blast. Police and rescue teams have reached the sites and are conducting further investigations.
