Armed individuals opened fire on a car in Dargai tehsil of Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing a mother and her son.

The incident occurred as Qaiser, who had recently been granted bail while imprisoned on murder charges, was traveling with his mother back to their village in the Mardan district.

While the mother and son had arrived in Dargai, assailants in another vehicle unleashed a barrage of gunfire, resulting in their immediate deaths.

The unknown perpetrators fled the scene after the attack, while the Malakand Levies transported the bodies to the local hospital.

Authorities have indicated that the incident appears to be linked to a personal enmity.

The Levies have formed special teams to conduct raids to apprehend the suspects involved in this heinous crime.
