Wrestler John Cena has shocked fans by turning heel and aligning himself with The Rock, delivering a low-blow to the Universal Champion and leaving the wrestling community in disbelief at World Wrestling Entertainment Elimination Chamber 2025.

Before the event, Cena was seen lifting the hand of wrestler Jey Uso after the professional wrestling event, Royal Rumble.

The celebrations did not last long as wrestler Cody Rhodes stepped into the ring to confront The Rock, who was accompanied by rapper Travis Scott.

The Rock proposed that Rhodes “sell his soul” and join him, but Rhodes declined.

Cena expressed his respect for Rhodes with an embrace, only to unexpectedly launch a brutal attack that left Rhodes reeling in the ring.

WWE confirmed that Cena will be appearing on several of their upcoming European shows, which are being billed under the “Road to WrestleMania” brand.

In 2024, Rhodes had his allies to protect him against the sheer force of The Bloodline.
