Gold prices decline in Pakistan, intl markets

Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped in line with declining international rates.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell to Rs300,000 after a decrease of Rs500 on Saturday.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold is now Rs257,201, down by Rs438, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Internationally, gold prices also fell on Saturday, reaching $2,857 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a $6 decrease for the day.

In addition, the price of silver decreased by Rs10, settling at Rs3,240 per tola.

On Friday, the gold price had already dropped by Rs2,500.

Also, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,829 to stand at Rs259,773 on Thursday.

In similar situation of decline in gold prices, on Wednesday, the rates per tola reached Rs306,300.
