Crackdown on profiteers during Ramazan and Eid announced
The federal government has decided to take strict action against profiteers during Ramazan and Eid, ensuring the stability of essential commodity prices.
A high-level meeting, chaired by Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, reviewed the pricing of food items during the holy month and Eid.
The meeting focused on controlling the prices of key items such as sugar and cooking oil, emphasising strict enforcement against hoarders and profiteers.
Provincial representatives briefed the meeting on stock availability and pricing trends.
