The Punjab Education Department has announced new school timings for the duration of Ramadan.

According to the issued notification, single-shift schools will operate from 8:30am to 1:00pm from Monday to Thursday.

On Friday, the school will operate till 12:30pm.

For double-shift schools, the first shift will conclude at 12:30pm from Monday to Thursday.

The second shift will begin at 1:00pm and end at 4:00pm. On Fridays, the second shift will start at 2:30pm and finish at 5:00pm.

Additionally, the notification specified that female students will be allowed to leave 15 minutes earlier than their male counterparts.

These updated school hours will be implemented across all schools in Punjab, ensuring a smooth adjustment during Ramadan.
