MQM-H Chairman Afaq Ahmed released from Central Jail
Chairman of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM-H), Afaq Ahmed, has been released from Karachi Central Jail after securing bail in yet another case.
A large number of party workers gathered outside the prison to welcome him, chanting slogans in his support.
Upon his release, Afaq Ahmed emerged from jail making a victory sign, acknowledging the enthusiasm of his supporters.
He was greeted with flower garlands, while women and men alike joined in celebrating his return.
The court had granted bail in a third case against him, which involved allegations of damaging public property.

Earlier, an Additional District and Sessions Judge (West) heard the case related to the arson of a water tanker, approving his bail against a surety bond of Rs100,000.
Afaq Ahmed was previously facing two cases under the Anti-Terrorism Act, registered at Landhi and Awami Colony police stations.
After securing bail in those cases, he was re-arrested by Surjani Police in connection with the tanker-burning incident.
With his latest release, the MQM-H leader has now secured bail in all pending cases, marking a significant legal victory for him and his party.
