Foreign tourists rescued after 10-hour operation amid snowfall in Shogran

Two foreign tourists who went missing while skiing in the Shogran-Siri Paye region were safely rescued after a gruelling 10-hour search operation.

According to the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA), the tourists were enjoying skiing at Siri Paye when they inadvertently strayed toward Makra Peak and lost their way.

Upon receiving the report, KDA, local police, and tourism police immediately launched a coordinated rescue operation.

Officials stated that the tourists were found near the base camp of Makra Peak, where they had spent the entire night in freezing conditions. After being located, they were safely transported back to Shogran.
