Northern bypass blocked by protesters in Karachi
The Northern bypass was blocked on February 8, by families of two men who were reportedly killed in a shootout near Farsi Ground in Manghopir.
The protesters placed the victims’ bodies at Orangi Cut, causing significant traffic disruption for several hours.
Protesters claimed that a shooting incident had occurred hours prior, yet no action was taken by the police. Authorities later arrived at the scene to manage the situation.
Following negotiations, the protesters agreed to end their demonstration, enabling traffic to flow once again on the Northern Bypass.
