Water supply to Islamabad, Rawalpindi affected for 10 days

CDA urges citizens to ensure proper water usage

Water supply to Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be affected for 10 days as the dam cleaning will take place from February 10 to 19. A formal notification regarding this has been issued.

Water supply will be disrupted in Islamabad’s sectors D-12, G-10, G-11, F-10, F-11, and G-9.

Similarly, residents in Rawalpindi areas including Dhoke Hassu, Ratta Amral, Pirwadahi, and Military Colony will also face water shortages.

Due to the cleaning process, Islamabad will receive 5.5 million gallons less water daily, while Rawalpindi will see a reduction of 13 million gallons.
