Gold prices rose in Pakistan mirroring a trend in the international market.

The price of gold saw a Rs 500 increase in the price of 24-carat gold. The new price stands at Rs 282,900 per tola, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs 429 to Rs 242,541.

Conversely, silver prices experienced a decline, falling Rs 9 per tola to Rs 3,372 and Rs 8 per 10 grams to Rs 2,890.

Global gold prices climbed by $5 per ounce to $2,708.
