The results of the MDCAT 2024, announced by the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur, reveal a concerning trend among Karachi students, with only 43.29% successfully passing the test for MBBS admissions.

In contrast, the pass rate for BDS candidates was slightly better, with 50.66% qualifying for admission.

The MDCAT 2024 retake saw participation from 32,200 candidates, highlighting the competitive nature of medical admissions in the region.

Notably, the highest scores were achieved by students from Ranipur, Badin, Khairpur, and Tharparkar, with top achievers earning 192 marks.
