Medicine salesman robbed of millions in Shujabad
Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the robbery
A private medicine company van was robbed at gunpoint near Sikandarabad, a suburb of Shujabad in Punjab province. Five armed robbers made off with Rs1.9 million.
According to the van’s salesman, Muhammad Amin, and driver, Qasim Abbas, they were returning to Multan after collecting payments when they were stopped by the robbers near the bypass.
Amin stated that the robbers smashed the van’s windows with pistol butts, assaulted them, and stole the cash before fleeing the scene.
Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the robbery and have launched an investigation.
