Imran Khan sent on remand in six new cases
His physical remand in New Town Police Station was completed on Monday
The founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Imran Khan, has completed his physical remand in a case registered at New Town Police Station.
He has subsequently been sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
This judicial remand also covers six additional cases against him related to protests on September 28 and October 25.
The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah at Adiala Jail.
Khan had been arrested in the New Town Police Station case soon after being granted bail in the Toshakhana two case. The arrest had dimmed the brief glimmer of hope PTI had for Khan’s release.
