Punjab CTD arrests 12 terrorists in intelligence operations

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has successfully apprehended 12 terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations across multiple cities.

The operations were conducted in Sargodha, Bhakkar, Rahim Yar Khan, and Faisalabad, with additional actions in Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Jhang, as confirmed by a CTD spokesperson.

Notably, two members of a banned organization were arrested in Bhakkar and Sargodha.

Authorities reported the recovery of weapons and explosives from the suspects, who allegedly intended to carry out attacks and instill fear in the public.
