A fatal accident has claimed the lives of five individuals, including a woman and a child after a passenger coach overturned near the grid station on Kandhkot Road in Jacobabad, Thul, Sindh.

Local police reported that more than 15 others sustained injuries in the incident.

Authorities swiftly transported the deceased and the injured to nearby hospitals for medical attention.

According to police, the coach was en route from Quetta to Sadiqabad when it lost control and overturned due to excessive speed.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is currently underway.
