The Punjab government has launched an online portal for purchasing sacrificial animals for the Eidul Azha, Radio Pakistan reported.

The portal provides listings of the available animals, including their pictures, age, weight, species, breed, and price.

This new initiative aims to streamline the process of acquiring these animals by leveraging modern technology, according to the state broadcaster.

On May 25, The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) stated that a QR code payment mechanism will be developed through the Raast Instant Payment System for people to purchase sacrificial animals on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
