Sharjeel Memon says interior minister was working on safe city project
New vehicles would not be allowed to ply on roads in Karachi until registered, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said on Thursday.
He said this while talking to reporters about the mass transit system in Karachi.
Memon added that they were working on the temporary integration of the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) which has been named after philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi.
While highlighting the ongoing efforts to improve the transportation system, he said that more buses would be procured and additional routes would be initiated.
He went on to add that the Orange Line and Green Line corridor would be connected. It would take three to four months.
