Bahauddin Express’ carriages unlinked near Rahim Yar Khan

No passengers were hurt in the incident

The Bahauddin Express met with an accident in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday, when a joint suddenly opened while the train was moving.

The incident occurred near Liaquatpur which caused the train’s bogies to get completely unlinked.

The train’s ticket checker fell down due to the incident and was severely injured. He has now been shifted to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital.

The train was travelling from Karachi to Multan.

However, no passengers were reported to be hurt in the incident.
