Borders with Iran, Afghanistan to remain closed on election day
Borders will open again from Friday
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday that Pakistan’s borders with Iran and Afghanistan will remain closed on election day.
A statement from MoFA said that the borders will be closed for both pedestrians and trade on Thursday.
MoFA added that the borders will be open once again on February 9.
