The time for campaigning for general elections 2024 came to a close as the clock struck midnight on Tuesday.

As per the code of conduct issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, no rallies or even corner meetings will be allowed on Wednesday.

Candidates are not only barred from organising but also from participating in any election events.

Meanwhile, the ECP is expected to complete security deployments and arrangements before polling takes place on Thursday.
