At least 28 police personnel were injured when a bus carrying them for election duties collided with a cargo truck at Kandobaba village of Buner district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rescue officials said on Sunday.

The rescue teams arrived at scene and moved the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital Dagar, they added.

Sources said that several policemen were in critical conditions after sustaining injuries.
