Stock market crosses 50,000 mark after six years
Trading began at 49,730 on Tuesday.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange reached a major milestone by crossing the 50,000 mark on Tuesday.
Trading began at 49,730 points and quickly gained 80 points to reach 49,810 by 10:30 am.
However, the rallying continued and the 100-index reached 50,000 points around 12 pm.
The 50,000 mark was last reached in January, 2017.
