Neither any record nor infrastructure was damaged in the Foreign Office building fire on Thursday night, the spokesperson said. The fire was reported on the last floor of the central building.

The fire was contained after some time, the spokesperson added. Fire brigade vehicles were seen at the site. There were also no reports of loss of life.

The Foreign Office building is located at Constitution Avenue, G-5, in Islamabad.
