At least three terrorists were killed and four personnel of security forces were martyred in a fire exchange in Zhob district of Balochistan on Friday.

The members of outlawed TTP attempted to infiltrate in Pakistan from neighbouring Afghanistan near Sambaza area of Zhob when the forces engaged them, Pak Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations said.

“In the ensuing operation, Havildar Sattar, Lance Naik Sher Azam, Lance Naik Adnan and Sepoy Nadeem fought valiantly and embraced shahadat,” it added.

During the fire exchange, four security personnel were martyred while three terrorists were killed.

The infiltration bid was foiled.

“The security forces of Pakistan will continue to thwart efforts of the enemies of peace and prosperity in the country,” the ISPR said.
