Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Deputy Speaker Mehmood Jan survived a gun attack and remained unhurt while attending an event in Peshawar.

He was attending a livestock event when some unknown armed men shot at him. The motive of the attack could not be ascertained.

KP deputy speaker remained unharmed in the firing incident. The gunmen managed to escape.

Following the firing incident, police arrived at the spot and cordoned off the area.

Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects.
