Troops kill five suspected terrorists in North Waziristan
One soldier loses his life in exchange of fire, says ISPR
RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed five suspected militants in an exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Jhallar Algad area of North Waziristan district, the military’s media wing said Monday.
Resultantly, five suspected terrorists were killed. Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from them, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
“During (the) intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Nasir Khan (age 25 years, resident of South Waziristan District) having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat,” the ISPR statement added.
The ISPR said that those killed were involved in attacks against security forces and civilians.
