Amid the chaos from that resulted from the attempted assassination on PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container, news channels showed footage of a citizen confronting the shooter, presumably thwarting his plans.

Videos showed a young man grappling with the shooter, forcing him to raise the gun in the air. The shooter struggled to get free as people around them fled the scene.

Later videos also showed him being lifted in celebration by PTI workers.

Four people including Imran Khan were injured in the attack as the long march reached Wazirabad.
