Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said their government would provide relief to the people once oil prices decrease in the international market.

While addressing an election rally on Saturday in Lahore, Maryam blamed former premier Imran Khan for his decisions.

“Imran Khan made the wrong agreement with IMF (International Monetary Fund).”

She said Imran has got into a habit of “robbing”, adding he has emptied the national exchequer.

“He had made all the preparations to turn the country into Sri Lanka.”

Maryam lauded the performance of the current government , saying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave subsidies on flour, sugar and lentils.

The PML-N leader criticised the previous government further, saying Imran did not buy fuel for electricity production units, which caused them to close down.

“The public is faced with load-shedding due to the closing down of electricity production units.”
