Imran Khan can never win election if institutions stay ‘neutral’: Bilawal
PPP chairman says three generations of his party have paid the price of standing up to dictatorships
Foreign Minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Wednesday that PTI Chairman Imran Khan could never win an election if “institutions were to stay neutral”.
Addressing the floor of the lower house of parliament, he said that the PTI only came to power because of rigging in the 2018 general elections.
“Elections were rigged to stop PPP from coming to power and forming government,” said Bilawal.
He said that the PPP has been talking about transparency in elections for three generations. “We have always fought against dictatorships.”
We have been facing oppression for three generations, he said.
