BELA, BALOCHISTAN: At least four people lost their lives while at least five were injured when a passenger bus collided with a car near Bela in Balochistan’s Lasbela district on Thursday.

A family of five was in the car heading to Pishin from Karachi when they collided with a passenger bus headed in the opposite direction. A man, woman and two children died on the spot, while another woman travelling with them was critically injured.

Out of those riding the bus, four men sustained minor injuries.

The deceased and those with minor injuries were moved to Civil Hospital Bela while the woman critically injured in the car was transported to Karachi.

Over speeding and bad road conditions are leading causes of accidents in the country.

Just yesterday (May 11) at least 15 people lost their lives in a collision between a passenger van and a truck on the Indus Highway near Sehwan.
