The federal government has issued a notification announcing revised office timings during the holy month of Ramazan to facilitate employees and the public.
According to the notification, government offices operating six days a week will remain open from 9am to 2pm, while on Fridays, office hours will be from 9am to 12:30pm.
Similarly, offices observing a five-day week will operate from 9am to 2pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 12.30pm on Fridays.
Meanwhile, revised office timings for Ramazan have also been formally announced in Quetta.
According to a provincial notification, government offices in Balochistan will remain open from 9am to 2pm from Monday to Thursday and on Saturday, while on Fridays, offices will operate from 9am to 12pm.
It was further stated that some offices will function from 9am to 3pm from Monday to Thursday.
Officials said the revised schedule will remain in effect only during Ramazan, after which regular office hours will be restored.
Under the notification, all federal and provincial departments have been directed to strictly adhere to the prescribed timings to ensure uninterrupted public service delivery.
