Sindh fixes flour price at Rs 107 per kg across province

The Sindh government has fixed the retail price of flour at Rs 107 per kilogram, issuing a notification for immediate implementation across the province.

According to the notification, a 10-kilogram bag of flour will be sold at Rs 1,070 in retail markets.

The ex-mill price has been set at Rs 104 per kilogram, while a 10-kg ex-mill bag will cost Rs 1,040.

The Pakistan Flour Mills Association has welcomed the decision.

Its chairman, Junaid Aziz, confirmed that flour will now be sold at Rs 107 per kilogram in retail.

He said the government has provided 230,000 tons of wheat for the months of December and January.

According to the association, the monthly demand of flour mills ranges between 250,000 and 300,000 tons.
