The federal government will establish a new economic zone in Karachi’s Malir district, government spokesperson Raja Ansari said on Sunday.

Two modern Danish schools will be established in Tando Muhammad Khan and Gadap Malir, and children from the backward areas will be provided with modern, world-class education.

Raja Ansari further said that the Malir Economic Zone will provide industrial development and employment opportunities in Sindh.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif wanted Sindh to be economically self-sufficient, he added.

Education and industrial projects will prove to be important milestones in the development of Sindh.

The federal government wanted to initiate development projects in all areas of Sindh without discrimination, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is taking practical steps to empower the youth of Sindh, he added.
