PIA to resume Lahore-London flights after six years

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of direct flight operations from Lahore to London, marking the resumption of services after a six-year hiatus.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the first flight, PK-757, will depart from Lahore for London on March 30.

All flights from Lahore to London will land at Terminal 4 of Heathrow Airport.

The spokesperson said London is among PIA’s earliest international destinations and holds significant importance in the airline’s network.

With the resumption of the Lahore-London route, the total number of weekly PIA flights to the United Kingdom will increase to seven.

Before the suspension, PIA was operating 10 weekly flights from Pakistan to London, the spokesperson added, noting that flight frequency to London will be increased gradually.

PIA has already announced the launch of three weekly flights from Islamabad to London, which are scheduled to begin on March 29.

The airline said the resumption of UK operations reflects ongoing efforts to restore and expand its international network.
