15 Fitna Al Khawarij militants killed in intelligence-based operations in KP: ISPR

At least fifteen militants, belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna Al Khawarij, were killed in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 15–16, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched an IBO in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan following reports of militant presence.

“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khawarij location, resultantly ten Khawarij — including the Kharji ring leader Alam Mehsud — being sent to hell,” the ISPR said.

In a separate operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, troops “successfully neutralised five more Khawarij,” the statement added.

The military said sanitisation operations were underway to eliminate any remaining militants “as the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”
