Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with his Egyptian counterpart on Saturday to discuss regional developments, with a particular focus on the situation in Gaza and ongoing efforts for peace.

According to the Foreign Office, the Egyptian foreign minister expressed condolences over the loss of precious lives in recent terror incidents in Pakistan.

Both sides exchanged views on Middle East dynamics, including the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire.

The two foreign ministers underscored the importance of maintaining high-level contacts between Pakistan and Egypt to coordinate on regional and global issues.
