Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Thursday, increasing by Rs8,300 per tola to reach Rs443,062.

The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs7,116, bringing it to Rs379,854.

In the international market, gold gained $83, pushing the global rate to $4,207 per ounce.

Silver prices also saw an increase, rising by Rs228 to Rs5,662 per tola.
