Gold prices witnessed a sharp increase both in the local and international markets.

In Pakistan, the price of gold rose by Rs7,400 per tola, reaching Rs429,862, while the rate for 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs6,337, now priced at Rs368,530.

In the international market, gold gained $74 per ounce, bringing the global price to $4,075.
