The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday allocated portfolios to 13 cabinet members, according to a notification issued on the directives of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
As per the official statement, new ministers, advisers, and special assistants have been assigned responsibilities across key provincial departments.
Shafiullah Jan has been appointed Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Public Relations.
Arshad Ayub Khan has been named Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, while Amjad Ali will serve as Minister for Housing.
Meena Khan Afridi has been assigned the portfolio of Minister for Local Government and Rural Development.
Fazal Shakoor has been appointed Minister for Public Health Engineering, Riaz Khan as Minister for Irrigation, and Aftab Alam Afridi as Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights.
Syed Fakhar Jehan has been named Minister for Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control; Khaliqur Rehman as Minister for Health; and Aqibullah Khan as Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation, and Settlement.
Meanwhile, Faisal Khan Tarakai has been appointed Minister for Labour, Taj Muhammad Tarand as Adviser on Sports and Youth Affairs, and Muzzammil Aslam as Adviser on Finance.
